The strange world of Jupiter (anglų kalba)

(0), 2023 06 05

Jupiter is the biggest planet in the Solar system and one of the brightest objects in our night sky. Enormous storms rage on its surface and the planet’s gravity lets volcanoes erupt on its moons. Deep underneath the surface, Jupiter holds the Solar system’s largest ocean, composed of liquid metallic hydrogen. In this talk we will explore the strange world of Jupiter, find out why it is called a “failed star”, and take a look beyond our own Solar system at Jupiter’s maybe even stranger cousins. (Anglų kalba). 45 min užsiėmimas, 15 min diskusija. Rekomenduojama mokiniams nuo 14 metų.
